A single roll contains 25 UNC quality, freshly minted Akseli Gallen-Kallela coins.
The obverse of the Akseli Gallen-Kallela collector coin depicts a painter's palette, the descending spirit and the Swan of Tuonela. The figure on the reverse is an homage to Gallen-Kallela's prints.
The special two-euro coin's reverse side is identical to that of ordinary two-euro circulation coins. A total of 500 000 commemorative Akseli Gallen-Kallela two-euro coins is minted. Two-euro commemorative coins are legal tender in all euro countries.
